Balkan Tour with Italy 11D/10N

DAY 1 ARRIVE MILANO – VENICE (Dinner)

Arrival at Milano Airport, meet and greet by our tour manager. Our guide will take us to the impressive DUOMO SQUARE, one of the biggest Gothic Cathedral, La Scala Opera House, one of the most important collections of the Opera world, Castello Sforzesco - built in the 15th century by Francesco Sforza, Duke of Milan. Shop at the world’s oldest shopping mall, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II which was built in 1865, and been operating since 1877.

Drive to Venice. Dinner and overnight in Venice.

DAY 02 VENICE - ZAGREB (Breakfast, Dinner)

Breakfast at hotel and check out hotel, transfer via waterbuses to San Marco Venice. City was built on more than 100 small islands in a lagoon in the Adriatic Sea. Visit San Marco Square, flanked by the Basilica & Doge’s Palace and Bridge of Sighs. Continue to look out for the beautiful local handmade - Venetian glass, it is world-renowned for being colourful, elaborate, and skilfully made the legend says that the Bridge of Sighs will give eternal love to lovers if they kiss under the bridge, and we arrange you to take a Gondola ride through the canals. Drive to Zagreb. Stop for a prayer in Ljubljana Mosque. Overnight and accommodation at hotel in Zagreb area.

DAY 03 ZAGREB tour –BIHAĆ (Breakfast, Dinner)

Breakfast at hotel. Proceed to City tourof Zagreb, where we will visit: the upper and lower town Kaptol and Gradec, the majestic Cathedral Archbishop's Palace, Ban Jelacic square, Lotrseak Tower, Archaeological Museum, National Museum, etc. Free time.

Proceed to Bihac (2,5 hours). Dinner at hotel. Overnight and accommodation at hotel in Bihac.

DAY 04 BIHAC – JAJACE WATERFALLS – TRAVNIK – SARAJEVO (Breakfast, Dinner)

Breakfast at hotel and check out hotel.

Proceed to royal town Jajce (151 km: +/- 2 hours) and visit magnificent waterfall in heart of the city. After the waterfall we’ll continue to see Pliva lakes and visit wooden watermills.

After the visit we will proceed towards Travnik (67 km: +/- 1 hour) and we stop at Malaysian mosque in Turbe village. Travnik is a small town with mosques and fortress that dot the skyline shows the original style Bosnian architecture that gives this town a charm. We’ll see the Plava Voda springs.

Proceed to Sarajevo (+/- 1,5 hours). Dinner and overnight at hotel in Sarajevo

DAY 05 SARAJEVO– MOSTAR (Breakfast, Dinner)

Breakfast at hotel. Check-out.

Today we’ll have walking tour of Old Town Bascarsija, Latin bridge, a place where the Austro-Hungarian Archduke was assassinated, what triggered the 1st World War; Brusabezistan – covered market place; Gazi Husref Bey Mosque- built in 1530 year during the Ottoman era – and Gazi Husref Bey Madrass; Sarajevo Meeting Point of Cultures; Vijecnica –City Hall for the Austro-Hungarian era, etc.

Proceed towards Mostar (120 km : +/- 2 Hours). Upon arrival Mostar City Tour – visit Koski Mehmed pasha mosque and walk through the old town and Old Bridge, listed as UNESCO heritage site. Free time for shopping.

Dinner at the hotel. Overnight and accommodation at hotel in Mostar.

DAY 06 MOSTAR–KOTOR –SHKODER (Breakfast, Dinner)

Breakfast at hotel and check out.

Proceed towards to Kotor (212 km; +/- 4 hours). Visit of Kotor, Medieval town on Adriatic coast which is also surrounded by stone walls. Kotor is also one of the largest beys on Adriatic which attracts many cruise ships and its on the UNESCO World heritage list. Free time. After Kotor proceed to Skhoder. Photo stop at St. Stefan Island.

Dinner at hotel or restaurant. Overnight and accommodation at hotel in Shkoder.

DAY 07 SHKODER– OHRID (Breakfast, Dinner)

Breakfast at hotel and check out hotel. Proceed to Ohrid ( 230 km, 3-4 hours ). Have city tour: visit Old Bazaar, Zeynel Abidin Pasha Tekke, Ali Pasha's Mosque. Free time to enjoy beautiful lake which is the deepest and one of the largest lakes in Balkans, with clean water that has visibility of 20 m. Perhaps visit the recommended Ohrid Pearl's shop. Free time.

Dinner at hotel. Overnight and accommodation at hotel in Ohrid.

DAY 08 OHRID – SKOPJE – SOFIA (Breakfast, Dinner)

Breakfast at hotel and check out hotel. Proceed to Skopje ( +/- 3 hours ). Start walking tour – including Stone Bridge, Old Bazaar, Old Rail Station, Mustafa-Pasha Mosque, Daut Pasin Hamam, from the XV century and the monument of Mother Teresa. Free time.

Proceed to Sofia ( 240 km: -/+ 4 hours ). Dinner at hotel. Overnight and accommodation at hotel in Sofia.

DAY 9 SOFIA – ISTANBUL (Breakfast, Dinner)

Breakfast at hotel and check out. Enjoy a richly rewarding walking tour through this fascinating city. Start with a visit inside the imposing Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the symbol of Sofia. Visit the nearby St Sofia Basilica and view the National Art Gallery building, the majestic National Theatre and its fountains, BanyaBashi mosque, The Presidential Palace and National Assembly and take a peep at the archaeological site right beneath the busy streets of Sofia. Free time. Continue drive to Istanbul.

Dinner at restaurant. Overnight and accommodation at hotel in Istanbul.

DAY 10 ISTANBUL TOUR (Breakfast, Dinner)

Breakfast at hotel. Proceed to Istanbul City tour with local tour guide and visit Roman Hippodrome where horse chariot races and event were held. Sightseeing of the Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia and get some free time at Old Town.

Dinner at restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Istanbul.

DAY 11 ISTANBUL DEPARTURE (Breakfast)

Breakfast at hotel. Check-out.

Transfer to the airport for departure. End of service.
